CHESTER, Pa. (April 24, 2021) – The Philadelphia Union return to Subaru Park on Saturday night with a 2-1 loss over Inter Miami CF. Jamiro Monteiro scored the first goal of the season for the Union in the 54’. Federico Higuain found his brother Gonzalo Higuain in the 73’ to make it 1-1, and 10 minutes later Federico Higuain scored a header to take the lead. The Union recorded 13 shots compared to Miami’s six. Jack Elliott becomes the 12thplayer in club history to hit 100 appearances. The Union are away at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on April 27th where they will face Atlanta United in the CCL quarter finals.
