MLS Fantasy is back and it’s time to start building your squad ahead of the opening weekend April 16-18.

Key features in this year's fantasy edition includes moving roster values so as your players' prices rise and fall each each, so will your roster value. With a congested MLS slate in 2021, players who play twice a week will only contribute their highest score to your total team score.

Philadelphia Union boasts five players within Schuyler Redpath's MLS Fantasy preseason rankings. The highest ranked player from the Union is reigning MLS Goalkeeper of the Year Andre Blake who comes in at No. 3. Blake sits behind New England's shot stopper Matt Turner as well as reigning MLS Cup winner Elroy Room of Columbus Crew SC.

On the defensive side, center back Jakob Glesnes comes in No. 5 on the list of best fantasy defenders. With his ability to come forward on set pieces (or take his own shot), that added scoring ability makes him quite a steal at just $5.5 value. Midfielder Jamiro Monteiro comes in at No. 16 with a $9 valuation while both starting forwards Kacper Pryzybylko (#11 at $9) and Sergio Santos (#23 at $8.5) round out the Union's predicted fantasy players.

Start playing today and be sure to sign up and set your lineup before the league's calendar kicks off on Friday.
