New lighting, enhanced amenities elevate matchday experience for Union fans
Philadelphia Union today announced several new additions and fan-focused enhancements to Subaru Park ahead of the 2026 Major League Soccer season. Fans will see these enhancements come to life when the Union hosts New York City FC in its MLS Home Opener on February 26 at 4:30 p.m. ET (Apple TV).
New Lighting System
Subaru Park has installed a new multi-million-dollar theatrical sports lighting system designed to enhance the in-game presentation. The upgraded system will support player introductions, goal celebrations, and other key match moments throughout the season. The lighting installation follows last year’s speaker system upgrade and continues the Union’s commitment to continue to elevate the matchday experience.
Food and Beverage Enhancements and New Offerings
Aramark returns as the official F&B provider at Subaru Park, with new concession options available to fans throughout the stadium.
New concession items available throughout the stadium include:
- Primo Hoagies (Turkey Diablo & Italian Diablo) - Section 125
- PJ Whelihan’s (OG Smashburger * Buffalo Chicken Wrap) - Sections 101 & 122
- Hatfield (Union Match Day Chili, Footlong Hotdog, Loaded Chili Footlong Dog & Roast Pork Sandwich) - Section 104
Additionally, Copper Bonnet Distillery joins as a new craft spirits partner. Fans will find Copper Bonnet canned gin cocktails at Grab & Go and Patrón Bar locations in Sections 103 and 114, as well as at a branded beverage cart at Section 112.
Specialty souvenir offerings include the Phang Souvenir Ice Cream Cup (Sections 104, 112, and 120) and the Souvenir Soccer Ball Cocktail (Sections 103 and 114).
Union Shop
The Union’s partnership with Aramark now extends to retail. Fans of all ages can find the merch they need to be properly outfitted for the season ahead!
- The new “1776” primary kit that embodies the rebellious spirit and blue-collar grit of the city
- New styles of t-shirts, hoodies, scarves, and hats.
Ticketing and Matchday Experience
As previously announced, SeatGeek now serves as the Official Ticketing Partner of the Philadelphia Union.
New additions include entitlement of the SeatGeek Ticket Office, the introduction of the SeatGeek Standing Room Only area above Section 114, and the SeatGeek Seat Upgrade promotion, which provides ticket holders opportunities to move into available East Side field seats during matches.
Subaru Park will also introduce Evolv security scanning technology at stadium gates to provide a more efficient and streamlined entry process for fans.
