CHESTER, Pa. (December 19, 2023) – Philadelphia Union selected forward Stas Korzeniowski with the 53rd overall pick in MLS SuperDraft 2024 on Tuesday evening.
Korzeniowski, 20, appeared in 50 matches (35 starts) in his three years at University of Pennsylvania, scoring 20 goals and registering 15 assists. During his time as a Quaker, Korzeniowski’s performances on the field earned him a long list of honors, including First-team All-Region, Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year, First-team All-Ivy, Philadelphia Soccer Six All-Star Team, CSC All-District, and USC All-Northeast Region Second Team.
