For the second time this year Union fans have selected homegrown Andrew Rick as the winner of the Philadelphia Inquirer Save of the Month.
Rickās latest accolade came on the road against Atlanta United FC and helped the Boys in Blue pick up a big three points against the Five Stripes. With Philly leading on a second-half penalty kick goal from Tai Baribo, Atlanta committed as many men forward as they could to steal a result. In the 71st minute, Saba Lobjanidze received a quick pass from Miguel Almiron for a shot in the 18 but the homegrown keeper was cool under pressure to make the reaction save.
