The Girl's Game is Growing

It starts with a spark—a moment on the field when a young player shows something more. A clever pass no one saw coming. A tackle that turns the tide. A decision made with confidence beyond her years.

This summer, that spark could lead to something bigger.

The Philadelphia Union’s Player Pathway Program (PPP) is where that “something more” is recognized and refined. And for girls born between 2017 and 2012, the journey begins with an Open ID Session. Here, she will experience the competitive environment forged by the Union's developmental philosophy.

These are not your typical tryouts.

Held on July 25 and August 8, the sessions are designed to do more than assess—they challenge players to think differently. Every touch, every movement, every decision reflects the PPP's core principles: technical sharpness, tactical intelligence, a mindset that continually evolves, and the physical and mental strength it takes to achieve your highest level of development.

PPP is invite-only, but that invitation starts here. Through these ID Sessions, players are identified and invited to join their age group’s Training Pool, where they’ll receive club-neutral, supplemental training that complements—not replaces—their home club's current schedule.
