Last season Philadelphia Union crossed paths with Gabriel Planas-Borgstrom, a teenage who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in September 2018. With the help of Make-A-Wish the Union brought Gabe and his family to the Power Training Complex and Subaru Park for not only a training session but a one-day contract to join the Boys in Blue.
Wednesday afternoon Gabe restarted chemo treatment and when head coach and the rest of the squad heard, they teamed up to send a special message to the entire family.
