With a new month on the horizon, it's time for fans to cast their vote for The Philadelphia Inquirer Save of the Month which pits two big saves from Andre Blake against one another.
Blake's first nomination came in the opener of the month with a big stop against Orlando City SC's Marco PaÅ”aliÄ. With the match scoreless in the second half, Blake denied the swift counter attack to pick up his first shutout of April.
The other nomination came against Atlanta United on April 19th with Blake turning into a brick wall to preserve the shutout. Atlanta's Pedro Amador got the end line and whipped in a center cross in the 77th minute that connected on a Alexey Miranchuk header. Blake's reflexes were on point with the acrobatic stop to keep the 0 on the board.
