Acquired by the Philadelphia Union on April 4, 2014 via trade with Montreal Impact.

2014: Between Philadelphia and Montreal, he played in 32 games, starting 22. He finished third on the Union in goals with six and was tied for third in assists with four; both of those were career highs. He also led the team in shots (59) and shots on goal (23). Wenger scored in his Union debut on April 14 during a 2-2 draw against Real Salt Lake. During the summer, he had a two-goal effort during a 3-1 win over Harrisburg City in the Fourth Round of the U.S. Open Cup. Later in the season, he had another two-goal game against San Jose on Aug. 24, his first of his MLS career. Wenger was named to the Week 27 MLS Team of the Week by MLSSoccer.com for his performance during a 2-2 draw with New York Red Bulls on Sept. 13. He also finished the year on an 11-game streak with at least one shot attempt.

2013: Tallied one goal and three assists in 23 regular season games, including eight starts…Played at forward and in midfield during the season…Started the Eastern Conference Knockout Round game against Houston in the MLS Playoffs… Also helped the team win the Amway Canadian Championship, scoring one goal in four starts…Scored one goal in three CONCACAF Champions League games, including two starts… Registered three goals and one assist in six MLS Reserve League games, with four as a starter.

2012: Appeared in 23 games during his rookie season, after juggling his academics at Duke during the first few months of the season. Started seven games and scored four goals as a forward for the Impact. Scored his first professional goal on April 7, 2012 in a 2-1 win over rivals Toronto FC. The Impact won three of the four gmaes in which Wenger scored, as the versatile player added vital goals when used up front.

2011: Scored two goals in eight games with the Carolina Dynamo of the USL Premier Development League.

2010: Scored one goal in 13 games with Reading United of the USL Premier Development League.

INTERNATIONAL

Invited to two U23 U.S. National Team camps… Played two games with the U20 U.S. National Team in 2008... Also part of the U17 U.S. National Team in 2007.

COLLEGE
Played three seasons with Duke University, winning the 2011 Missouri Athletic Club's Hermann Trophy presented to the best male player in NCAA Division I soccer… After anchoring Duke's defence at centre back for two years, moved to forward in 2011 and led the Atlantic Coast Conference with 17 goals and eight assists for a total of 42 points, ranking fourth nationally in total points, and sixth in total goals… Selected as the 2011 ACC Offensive Player of the Year, completing the trifecta of ACC major awards after being respectively named the ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2009 and 2010, respectively… Also became the second Blue Devil in program history to earn CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team honours and spots on both the All-ACC Academic Team and ACC Academic Honour Roll each of his three seasons.
