Morton spent the the beginning of the 2019 USL Championship regular season at Real Monarchs, before being acquired by Bethlehem Steel FC on August 1, 2019. His brother, Kyle Morton, plays for Steel FC's in-state rivals Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC. Morton made his Steel FC debut in the match against Hartford (August 1), making eight saves. He started the following match at Nashville (August 10) and made seven saves en route to his first-career clean sheet. Morton started in the match against Birmingham (August 25) and made three saves. His second clean sheet and first win came in a start against Swope Park (September 1), in which he made six saves. He started the following match at North Carolina (September 7) and made four saves. 

College Experience: 

2015-2018: Morton attended the University of Delaware where he played four seasons of NCAA soccer from 2015-2018 after transferring from University of Maryland at Baltimore County following his freshman year. Over his four years at UD, the goalkeeper played 65 matches, made 226 saves and posted a record of 29-28-6. Morton had a goals-against average of 1.22, a .741 save percentage and kept 17 clean sheets in his collegiate career.

Morton spent time with local youth soccer clubs West Chester United and Penn Fusion before eventually joining the Philadelphia Union.
