It's everyone's favorite day of the week, Friday! With the weekend around the corner which features Philadelphia Union preseason action against Montreal Impact, what could possibly top starting it off with a flashback Friday to Union midfielder Marco Fabián's FIFA Puskas Award nominated goal.

Established in 2009, the award goes to the player, male or female, who scores the most beautiful goal of the calendar year.

The award was named after Hungarian Ferenc Puskas who is widely considered to be one of the most powerful and prolific forwards to come out of Europe. Puskas concluded his career with 512 goals in just 528 matches.

Fabián was nominated in 2014 for his left-footed strike as a member of Liga MX side Cruz Azul. If you've never seen the goal, check it out below.
