- Goalkeeper Andre Blake makes his 103rd career start, passing Zac MacMath for the Union’s all-time games started record, and becomes is now tied for the club’s all-time games played record for goalkeepers.
- Tonight's starting XI is the first time in 2019 head coach Jim Curtin has produced the same starting XI, with this group defeating FC Cincinnati by a 2-0 margin.
- Union captain Alejandro Bedoya makes his 75th career start for the Boys in Blue, waring the captain's armband for 65 of those starts.
- Marco Fabián recorded his second goal last week, earning MLS Team of the Week honors.
- Forward David Accam makes his third start of the season for the club after scoring three goals in his previous two starts. Accam earned Player of the Week honors after scoring a brace against Columbus.
