On Tuesday morning, Philadelphia Union head coach Jim Curtin provided an injury update on midfielder Marco Fabian.
"Marco picked up an ankle sprain in LA," Curtin said. "Right now, we don't have a time frame on his return so we'll continue to evaluate him this week as we prepare for a good Montreal Impact team."
Fabian turned his ankle against Los Angeles Galaxy last weekend and had to exit the match in the first half. The Mexican international has two goals in five games since joining the Union from Eintracht Frankfurt in the offseason.
Curtin leads his team out for their next match this Saturday at 1 p.m. ET as part of a double-header with Bethlehem Steel at Talen Energy Stadium.
