First place fight

The Union are on top of the Eastern Conference, but a whole host of talented teams are nipping at their heels. After dominating Seattle last weekend, Philly gets another strong opponent in Portland.

Union head coach Jim Curtin said this would be a fun game, and he’s not wrong. The Timbers like to get out and counter and the Union have been all about controlling games recently. If you like good soccer where teams throw a lot of punches, this is the one for you.

ONE. DOLLAR. HOT DOGS.

Come and get ‘em!

All-Stars on the pitch

Eight of the Union’s top players have been nominated for the 2019 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target in Orlando and this is your first chance to put eyes on them as ASG candidates.

Dre, Auston, Jack, Ale, Haris, Fafa, Kacper, and Marco are all on the ballot and you can vote for them here (once per day!) before heading out to Saturday night’s matchup with Portland.

The Timbers roll into Philly at 7:30 p.m. ET on May 25 as they close out a long road trip against your first place Union.
