Reactions to Union All-Star snubs

When the nominees for the 2019 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target were announced Thursday afternoon, there were the mixed reactions to the Union nominations. Most notably a few new key pieces that have propelled the Union into first place in the Eastern Conference not making the ballot.

The first name comes from's Tom Bogert who mentioned 18-year-old homegrown Brenden Aaronson.

ESPN's Taylor Twellman added another name to the mix with left back Kai Wagner, putting the 22-year-old in the mix for "arguably in the conversation of best LB in MLS".
