- Center back Auston Trusty makes his 50th start for the Boys in Blue. Trusty found the game-winning goal on the road at Minnesota, his first of 2019 and second of his MLS career.
- Outside back Kai Wagner will make his 15th career start for the Union.
- Ray Gaddis makes his 14th career MLS appearance against Red Bull, the most by a current member of the Union including head coach Jim Curtin.
- Brenden Aaronson makes his 15th appearance of 2019 with his start tonight. The 18-year-old graduated from YSC Academy yesterday.
- Midfielder Haris Medunjanin with the start makes his 80th career start for the Union. Last time out against Minnesota, Medunjanin scored his first goal of 2019.
- Kacper Przybylko Monteiro makes his 10th appearance of the season with his start up top.
