Head coach Jim Curtin
On the loss
"Bad night all around for us, again the real games and the real parts of the season come down to little moments and you can go from players having a free header to them coming down to score a minute later. These types of plays change games. Overall disappointed with the way we conceded, Montreal is a very comfortable team when they sit back in, they’re comfortable defending. I thought that we handed the ball to them in a lot of instances and gave up basically two versus six, mistake at midfield, come out at half-time and pass the ball right to them and they punish us. Overall just a bad night, one we have to recoup from quickly. It’s been a long stretch on the road now for us with the majority of our last 7 or 8 games. We have to bounce back against DC before we have another home game.” On the first 15 minutes
"Managing the first 15 minutes of game on the road is key. You have to get through the first 15 minutes. It’s a situation where we want to make them earn goals; we gave them on there. It’s tough on the road to come from behind in this league. We put ourselves in a bad spot and never really got out of it, so full credit to Montreal for their performance they deserve the 3 points tonight. But it wasn’t us, it wasn’t our best so we feel a little bit empty on the inside.”

Matt Real
On his first start
"No one wants to play their first start of the season to a 4-0 loss, especially we knew the type of form they were in, coming out of 4 losses. We thought it was going to be a good opportunity to catch them when they were not in a great form. It was a good experience; there are always things to learn from. The team conceded 4 goals, so we could’ve done better as a unit, but overall not happy with the performance. On the performance
"It was just a night where everyone could’ve done better, including myself. We just have to learn from it and get back on top of it next weekend. I want to keep improving as a player and show the coach that I’m capable of doing well.”
