Union donate meals to City Team Chester for Fight For Philly

FFP_Week4

Philadelphia Union and the Philadelphia Union Foundation continued its “FIGHT FOR PHILLY” initiatives on Monday afternoon, making the first of four meal donations to City Team Chester. Each meal delivery this week will provide the organization 200 free meals and drinks and will take place now through Thursday afternoon. The donation marks the organization's fourth large donation in as many weeks after donating over 1,000 meals to medical personnel from five hospitals, 3,000 face shields and 2,500 KN95 masks.

The Donation was aided with the help of the community assistance programs that were enhanced by a donation of at least $55,000 from Captain Morgan. Philadelphia Union's meal donations this week for the Chester organization was from PJ Whelihan's with 1,000 drinks from Coca-Cola ranging from soda, bottled water and iced teas.

Fans can still get involved in the relief effort, with “FIGHT FOR PHILLY” t-shirts are available to purchase, and all net proceeds will go toward the platform’s charitable efforts.
