The win moves the Union into second place in the Eastern Conference at the time of writing. Matt Real scored his first career MLS goal, while Kacper Przybylko scored his fifth of the season and in consecutive games against the Red Bulls after scoring the game winner against them on August 25. Brenden Aaronson scored his third goal of the season, matching his season-high of his rookie season last year. Alejandro Bedoya and Andrew Wooten both picked up two assists. The Union next return to action back at home on September 12 vs. New England (7:30 p.m. ET / PHL17).
