Philadelphia Union continues its early September road trip  headed north for a rivalry showdown with New York Red Bulls. Kick off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and can be viewed on PHL17 and for fans in the Philadelphia DMA they can check out the free live stream here.

NOTES

  • Goalkeeper Andre Blake makes his 10th start of the season in goal for the Union. Blake is 3-6-3 all-time against Red Bulls in 12 previous career starts.
  • Homegrown center back Mark McKenzie's start will in New Jersey will be his 35th career appearance for the club.
  • Right back Ray Gaddis makes his 205th career start for the Boys in Blue. Gaddis had the game-winning assist in the Union's home victory at Subaru Park against Red Bulls back on August 25.
  • The midfield trio of Jamiro Monteiro, Alejandro Bedoya and Brenden Aaronson join Blake with their 10th starts of 2020. 
  • The start is also homegrown Brenden Aaronson's 35th of his MLS career.
  • Forward Kacper Przybylko makes his 35th career start for the Union as well and the 10th of the season. Przybylko scored the game winning goal against Red Bulls on Aug. 25.
  • Michee Ngalina makes an appearance matchday roster for the fifth time this season.
