With a new month comes another competition as Philadelphia Union esports competitor Cisse begins eMLS League Series Two presented by Coca-Cola on Tuesday night.
At League Series One last month, Cisse racked up the most goals in regular season play to finished with the No. 4 seed before falling to eventual champion Didychrislito in the Knockout Round. Cisse has been working daily on the sticks as the competition ratchets up another level for League Series Two.
Just like last month, qualifiers will be online-only for health and safety of all participants but will take place over three nights instead of four. Cisse's League Series Two schedule will be a tough one with four of the 12 opponents having appeared in the KO rounds last time out with New York Red Bulls' Adamou reaching the final while PhilB94 of Toronto FC advanced to the semifinals.
This week's competition is highlighted by a pair of high-profiled contests as Cisse faces former Philadelphia Union gamer Doolsta on Tuesday night and 24 hours later a sibling showdown with KingCJ0 of D.C. United.
All matches will not only count for League Series Two standings but for the eMLS Cup too with the top 11 Clubs in total points earning a spot eMLS Cup. The remaining 16 Clubs will compete in a Last Chance Qualifier tournament to battle for the final 12th seed of eMLS Cup.
