Philadelphia Union II looks to cap off its three-game home stand with another three points this weekend as they host CT United FC at Subaru Park on Sunday afternoon. Kick off is set for 3PM with tickets on sale now and coverage on MLSNEXTPro.com and OneFootball.

Union II is off to a flying start start in 2026 with all six points collected through the first two matchweeks of the league season. Strong defense has powered the way for Head Coach Ryan Richter's side with goalkeeper George Marks having earned back-to-back shutouts. Overall Union II is one of three teams in the league that have yet to concede a goal in 2026 despite being one of the younger sides and has allowed a league-low four shots on target. The club is also one of five teams in MLS NEXT Pro to have started off the year with six points through two games.

In their two wins so far its been 1-0 scorelines with the latest winner coming from Finn Sundstrom last weekend against FC Cincinnati 2. The first team center back scored off a smashing header after 17-year-old midfielder Willyam Ferreira picked him out off a corner kick.

Announced in January 2024, CT United FC joined MLS NEXT Pro as the 30th team and is led by former MLS defender Shavar Thomas as their head coach. An independent club, they kicked off their inaugural season with an impressive 3-1 road win at FC Cincinnati 2 with Robbie Mora scoring the club's first goal. Last weekend they jumped out to another first-half lead against Chattanooga FC but quickly saw momentum turn as the Tennessee side grabbed three goals before the break in route to a 4-2 final score.
