Union Academy's Cavan Sullivan, Anisse Saidi called in for U.S. U-15s January Camp

Philadelphia Union continues to be a talent pipeline for the United States National Team Squads as Anisse Saidi and Cavan Sullivan of the Union Academy have been called in for the first U.S. U-15 National Team training camp of the year by Head Coach Tom Heinemann.

The Domestic Training Camp takes place in Tampa Bay, Florida at the Hillsborough County Tournament Sportsplex and will see the Union Academy duo in training for the Stars and Stripes from January 4 through January 13.

The U-15 MYNT is continuing preparations for this year’s 2023 Concacaf U-15 Boys’ Championship. Players born on or after Jan. 1, 2008 are age-eligible for the tournament.

Fourteen players were a part of the team’s last training camp in October, the first for the 2008-birth year cycle. Prior to that, ten were a part of a 60-player talent identification camp held in Southern California in August/September.

Thirteen clubs, including eight from Major League Soccer, are represented on the roster. Four players each come from LAFC and Real Salt Lake while four players are based abroad in France, Portugal, Scotland and Spain. The players hail from 11 different states, led by five from California.

Defender Gavin Wolff is the son of former USMNT forward/current Austin FC head coach Josh Wolff and the younger brother of U-20 MYNT forward Tyler Wolff and U-19 MYNT midfielder Owen Wolff.
