With the 2026-27 MLS NEXT Season haivng just kicked off, USSoccerCollective.com has compiled their MLS Academy rankings and at the top of the list is Philadelphia Union once again.
Claiming the No. 1 spot for the fourth-consecutive year, the list ranks the club with a perfect 10 out of 10 in both talent and resources.
The Union Academy received top marks in all three categories that were comprised of resources, talent and outcomes. The Union's "Pathway To The Pros" player development platform was credited with 13 success stories according to their data with players not only impacting the Union in league play but also impacting the USMNT with four members on the FIFA World Cup Roster.
"By pure results, no club has produced more high-level pros than Philadelphia over the last five years. A half-dozen USMNT players, a long list of significant MLS players and a few in Europe's top five leagues."
