2023 produced so many memorable goals but now time for the Union faithful to narrow down the best bangers for the 2023 BIMBO Goal of the Year!
Four members of the Boys in Blue start off the competition in the running for the annual accolade with midfielder Jose Martinez leading the way with three goal of the year nominations while defender Kai Wagner and Daniel Gazdag each have a pair. Joaquin Torres might have just one nominee but his game winner will surely be a test for its matchup.
The first round matchups can be found below:
- Jose Martinez (at ORL) VS Daniel Gazdag (vs. NE)
- Daniel Gazdag (vs. ATL) VS Joaquin Torres (vs. CHI)
- Jose Martinez (vs. CIN) VS Jose Martinez (vs. NYC)
- Kai Wagner (USOC) VS Kai Wagner (at COL)

First round voting will take place exclusively on Philadelphia Union's Instagram Stories so be sure to head over to cast your votes before it closes at 5:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, December 12th. The four winners will move on to the semifinals that will battle on Wednesday, Dec. 13th.
