Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Andre Blake and midfielder Danley Jean Jacques have been named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 24.
The duo earned recognition following Philadelphia’s 2-0 victory over CF Montréal on Saturday, helping the club extend its unbeaten streak to eight matches since returning from the World Cup break.
After a scoreless first half, Jean Jacques broke the deadlock in the 57th minute, scoring what proved to be the match-winning goal and giving the Boys in Blue a 1-0 lead.
Later in the match, Blake delivered a crucial penalty-kick save, denying Prince Owusu to preserve Philadelphia’s advantage before the Union doubled their lead in the 75th minute. The shutout marked Blake’s fourth clean sheet of the 2026 MLS season.
The Union’s unbeaten run has lifted the club back above the playoff line. Philadelphia will look to extend its streak on Wednesday when it hosts FC Cincinnati at Subaru Park.
