Philadelphia Union played Charlotte FC on Saturday night at Bank of America Stadium, falling 4-0. With the loss, the Union remain in first place in the Eastern Conference with 64 points. In the first half, Charlotte forward Daniel Ríos found the back of the net in the 24th minute to put Charlotte in the lead. Early into the second half Ríos found the back of the net for a second time after receiving a cross in the box from midfielder Kamil Józwiak in the 54th minute. Ríos converted a penalty in the 72nd minute to score his third goal of the night.
