Philadelphia Union played FC Cincinnati Thursday night at Subaru Park in the Eastern Conference semifinal of the Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs, winning 1-0. The first half saw both sides scoreless with goalkeeper Andre Blake posting two saves to keep the match even. The Union got on the board quickly in the second half, when in the 63rd minute forward Mikael Uhre sent a short pass across the box to midfielder Leon Flach who was able to slot his left footed shot into the upper left corner of the net. Goalkeeper Andre Blake posted five saves to earn a clean sheet and registered multiple saves late in the second half to keep the Union’s lead. With the win, the Union advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals of the Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs for the second time in club history. The Union enter the playoffs on a nine-match home winning streak, tied for the longest in a single season in club history.

The Union return home to play the winner of MTL/NYC at Subaru Park on Sunday, October 30th (Time TBD) in the Eastern Conference Finals of the Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs.
