Philadelphia Union played Nashville SC on Wednesday night at GEODIS Park, winning 2-0 . With the win, the Union move up to fourth place in the Eastern Conference with 37 points. Midfielder Daniel Gazdag opened the scoring by converting a penalty in the 40th minute, resulting in a 1-0 Union lead at the end of the first half. Gazdag logged his second goal of the game off of a penalty kick in the 85th minute after drawing a foul in the box. Goalkeeper Joe Bendik recorded his first clean sheet of the season, helping the Union claim a 2-0 road win against Nashville SC.

The Union will return to Subaru Park on Saturday, July 15th (7:30 p.m. ET / Apple TV), where they will face New York City FC.
