By the numbers | Philly's return to play

The Philadelphia Union has officially resumed action following a two-month pause from MLS play during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In their first week back, the team picked up a pair of wins at home and multiple players achieved personal milestones. Here's a look at the team's return to play by the numbers.

ZER0 - The team picked up zero yellow card cautions in the past two matches. The team allowed zero Seattle goals, marking the team's third clean sheet this year.

ONE - 18-year-old Homegrown defender Neil Pierre has checked off a long list of personal firsts in his return from loan in Denmark with Lyngby Boldklub. In the past two matches Neil Pierre made his Subaru Park debut, scored his first MLS goal, made his first MLS start, and provided his first MLS assist, in that order. He is one of five Homegrowns that combined for a total of 700 meaningful minutes over the two matches.

TWO - The team earned two straight wins at home, defeating both a rival in Red Bull New York and a cross-conference opponent in Seattle Sounders.

THREE - Frankie Westfield recorded an assists in both of the team's matches this week, extending his streak to three assists over the team's past three games.

FOUR - The Union goals scored four goals this week by way of three different players. Milan Iloski, Neil Pierre, and Indiana Vassilev all found the back of the net. 

FIVE - Scoring the opening goal against both Red Bull New York and Seattle Sounders, Milan Iloski has now scored in five straight matches, tying Daniel Gazdag for the Union's all-time streak.

SIX - The Philadelphia Union added six points to their total in less than a week's time, nearly doubling their season total from 7 to 13. 

SEVEN - While he's scored in five straight games, Iloski has hit the back of the net seven times in that span, including his hat trick against Miami. 

NINE - Subaru Park will host nine more home matches, including a Decision Day showdown against Toronto FC. 

TEN - Ten months after tearing his ACL during a match on the road in September 2025, Quinn Sullivan returned to the matchday roster, appearing as a second half subsitute in both matches.
