21-year-old Venezuelan Youth International joins Liga FUTVE side through 2026
Philadelphia Union II announced today that the club has recalled forward Jose Riasco from Carabobo F.C. and executed a new loan to Metropolitanos F.C., pending receipt of an International Transfer Certificate (ITC) through the remainder of 2026.
Union II acquired Riasco from Deportivo La Guaira on March 23, 2022. He made his debut as a substitute on April 24, 2022, playing the final 10 minutes against Chicago Fire FC II. Since then, he has made 32 MLS NEXT Pro appearances (17 starts), recording four goals and three assists. Since joining Carabobo, Riasco has made 29 appearances, scoring six goals and two assists.  Internationally, he has represented Venezuela’s U20 and U23 National Teams.
