Kick Childhood Cancer
As part of the Kick Childhood Cancer Day, the club worked with Kisses For Kyle once again to select this year's Fearless 43. Started by the club in 2019, the number represented how many children are diagnosed daily with cancer. Since then the Union have partnered with Kisses for Kyle to work with 43 childhood cancer patients in the greater Philadelphia area on special projects for their families which will include a speical event on Friday night at Union Yards.
On matchday, the club will honor the courageous children fighting pediatric cancer, with special tributes planned throughout the day. The Union will feature limited-edition jersey numbers available in the Union Shop, in-game recognitions, and unique activations around the stadium. At halftime, fans will find a Fearless 43 flag on their seats and are encouraged to wave them in celebration as we honor our pediatric cancer warriors between halves.
Fans can find the names of this year's fearless 43 class by clicking here.
Phang’s Birthday
Saturday afternoon also sees the club celebrate their favorite mascot who just turned seven! Our youngest Union fans will want to head over to Subaru Plaza to join the birthday fun! You can get a free airbrushed temporary tattoo, sign Phang’s birthday card, and pick up a free birthday hat at the marketing table. Be on the lookout around the plaza for mini present boxes and redeem them for a limited edition Phang Birthday poster.
Subaru Plaza
Fans will notice a new item on the Subaru Plaza for 2025 with a giant Adirondak chair courtesy of Visit St. Pete-Clearwater. Fas will be able to snap and submit a picture of them sitting on it in their Union gear for a chance to be featured on our online fan wall.

Zero Landfill
With the Philadelphia Union's innovative, forward-thinking initiatives and Subaru's long history of environmentalism and zero landfill expertise, the Union and Subaru have made Subaru Park the first zero landfill soccer stadium in Major League Soccer. To achieve this, Subaru Park reduces, reuses, and recycles more than 90% of its waste with the remaining waste converted to energy, thereby putting nothing into landfills since officially declaring zero-landfill status in 2021. By creating in-stadium messaging and an easy system for fans to sort their waste, Subaru and the Union cut the amount of waste each fan generated in half and increased the amount of waste fans recycle five-fold. Helping to keep trash out of landfills is just another way Subaru lives up to its commitment to support the Philadelphia community through its partnership with the Philadelphia Union.
