Philadelphia Union announced today that the club has terminated forward Markus Anderson’s loan with Brooklyn FC and loaned him to Danish first-division side Lyngby Boldklub, pending receipt of an International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and work authorization, through December 31, 2026.
Anderson made 15 USL Championship appearances for Brooklyn FC this season, recording six goals and four assists. He also scored two goals in four USL Cup appearances. Prior to joining Brooklyn FC, he made six MLS appearances including one start and scored one goal across two seasons with the Union.
The move continues Philadelphia Union’s strategic partnership with Lyngby Boldklub, creating opportunities for players to gain valuable competitive experience abroad. The relationship also supports the continued development of players and staff while expanding the Union’s international network and collaboration opportunities.
