Philadelphia Union announced today they have signed Union II players Giovanny Sequera and Malik Jakupovic to short-term agreements ahead of Thursday night's Concacaf Champions Cup match against Defence Force F.C.
The duo were added to the club's Concacaf Competition roster and are available for selection in tonight's Round One, Leg Two match at Subaru Park.
Per the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup Regulations, each roster can have a maximum of 35 players. If a club's roster does not include the maximum then additional players may be added provided the maximum players is not exceeded. In addition, per the 2026 MLS Roster Rules and Regulations, may sign a player, age 25 or younger during the league season, from its affiliate (MLS NEXT Pro) to a maximum of four Short-Term Agreements (up to four-day contracts) each season (maximum of 16 days).
