Union Yards to host eight additional days of free, fan-centric events, live music, and immersive matchday experiences
Following the resounding success and atmosphere generated during the group stage, Philadelphia Union today announced additional dates for Soccer Celebration, presented by Michelob ULTRA.
During the group stage, the free, fan-focused experience took over Union Yards throughout the summer’s global tournament, bringing together soccer fans from around the region in a family-friendly atmosphere to watch the world’s biggest matches.
With the group stage concluding this weekend, Union Yards is set to host two events during the Round of 32, with live viewings of Côte d’Ivoire’s match on Tuesday, June 30 at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the United States’ contest on Wednesday, July 1 at 8 p.m. ET. Should either side advance to the Round of 16, fans should be on the lookout for more information on an additional event during that round.
All four quarterfinals will be featured at Soccer Celebration presented by Michelob ULTRA, with matches taking place on July 9, July 10, and July 11. Semifinal action will take place at Union Yards on July 14 and July 15, with the final Soccer Celebration presented by Michelob ULTRA taking place during the FIFA World Cup Final on Sunday, July 19.
As always, fans will be able to experience the excitement and emotion of the knockout rounds on the Giant LED Screen, with a live DJ and rotating food options through “Flavors of the Matchday,” a globally inspired rotating menu that brings the tastes of the competing nations to Chester. Michelob ULTRA will also be featured as the official beverage of Soccer Celebration.
An attendee highlight will be the Fan Activation Zone, powered by Associate Partners Visit PA, Visit Delco, and Discover Lancaster, bringing the energy of regional pride to Union Yards.
