May 2nd marks the return of the Star Wars Night at Subaru Park when the Philadelphia Union take on Nashville SC at 7:30PM ET.
Fans are welcome to show out in their best Star Wars outfits for our costume competitions, one for adults and one for children. Throughout the game be on the lookout for photo opportunities with your favorite Jedi, or if you dabble on the Dark Side, your favorite Sith.
Union Yards
The theme night kicks off at Union Yards where fans can try a trio of Star Wars inspired non-alcoholic beverages exclusive for this match.
At 5:45PM, the adult costume contest will kick off near the DJ Stage where the crowd will help crown the Best Dressed in the Galaxy. Following the competition be sure to stick around for Union Chalk Talk hosted by Sage Hurley and Dave Leno.
Subaru Plaza
The plaza has become a space port with kids invited to take a tour though the Millenium Falcon inflatable and then weave your way around the stomping AT-AT obstacle course at the Subaru Plaza.Â
Kids Club members can pose with Jedi Phang from 6:15pm-6:45pm. Following Phang’s appearance, stop by Phang’s Playground for the Kid’s costume competition open to all youth fans 13 and under for a special prize.
In-bowl
Step into a galaxy far, far away upon entering Subaru Park complete with special Star Wars motion graphics throughout the venue and Stars Wars characters marching along the concourse. At halftime stick around so you don’t miss out on a special on field presentation. Â
