Philadelphia Union today announced a new partnership agreement with Allstate, one of the largest protection providers in the U.S., making them a proud partner of the Philadelphia Union and Subaru Park. Allstate has been an official partner of Major League Soccer since 2011.

“With a mutual commitment in making an impact in our community, we are excited to welcome Allstate to the Philadelphia Union family,” said Chief Revenue Officer of the Philadelphia Union, Charlie Slonaker. “Allstate has a long-standing history of community work with US Soccer and MLS, which is why we look forward to working together in making a difference on and off the pitch.”

Allstate will be the presenting partner of the following initiatives:

  • “Allstate Protection Play of the Match”: Each time a major defensive play prevents a shot on goal during a Philadelphia Union regular season home match, Allstate will donate $100 to the Philadelphia Union Foundation (up to $10,000). The play will also be shared on the Union’s social media channels.
  • “Philadelphia Union Giving Tuesday”: On the Tuesday following Black Friday, Allstate will host a donation drive, also benefiting the Philadelphia Union Foundation.

Proceeds from the two initiatives will be used to help build safe spaces for children to play in underserved communities throughout Philadelphia, Chester, and the surrounding area.

Under the partnership, fans will also get a chance to play a “Gameday Guess Game” before each regular season home match, where they can win tickets and other Union merchandise.
