Philadelphia Union Announces New Partnership with Prime Food Distributor


Philadelphia Union today announced a new partnership with Prime Food Distributor (PFD), a premier meat purveyor and one of the nation's largest independent processors of USDA Prime Beef, becoming the Official Premium Meat Distributor of the Philadelphia Union and Subaru Park. The partnership includes assets such as logo placement on the sleeve of Union Academy kits, a community donation initiative, “Pounds for Passes,” and featured branding throughout Subaru Park.

In addition to logo placement on the right sleeve of all Philadelphia Union Academy kits, PFD will also be the presenting partner of Junior Pre-Academy Tryouts and the supporting partner of Union Youth Programming.

Under the agreement, PFD will be the presenting partner of the “Pounds for Passes” promotion. For every pass completed by the Philadelphia Union during the regular season, PFD will donate one pound of protein that will be distributed throughout the year during designated donation days and community events. Additionally, PFD will be the presenting partner of “Grilling with the Guys,” a quarterly digital content series that will feature Union players as they test their grilling skills.

On match days, PFD branding will be displayed throughout Subaru Park including field LED signage, videoboard display, and concourse signs. Branding will also be visible at the WSFS Bank Sportsplex.
