Philadelphia Union to host second Union Day in Northeast Philadelphia

Philadelphia Union announced today that the club will host Union Day at Holy Family University and Nazareth Academy High School in Northeast Philadelphia on May 19 from 3:00-6:30 p.m., with free games, skills stations and coaching seminars hosted by Union players and technical staff available to members in attendance.
Union Day will feature an in-depth coaching clinic from 4:00-6:00 p.m. focused on youth development, instructed by Philadelphia Union technical and academy staff members. The event, will be hosted by new Union academy director Tommy Wilson. Wilson, a UEFA licensed instructor joined the Union from Scottish Premier League giant, Rangers FC.
Current Union assistant coach and Oreland native Jim Curtin will be in attendance in addition to Union hometown defender Chris Albright, a Northeast Philly native.
From 4:00-6:30 p.m., children six and older will have opportunities to participate in interactive skills stations facilitated by Union players Michael Farfan, Sheanon Williams, Sebastien Le Toux, Jeff Parke, Amobi Okugo and Jack McInerney,  all who are also scheduled to attend.
The Union hosted the first-ever Union Day this April in Lehigh Valley, as hundreds of local youth players and coaches were in attendance to participate in various games and activities.
