The first place Philadelphia Union will head back on the road this weekend, traveling to Ohio to take on Columbus Crew for Sunday Night Soccer presented by Continental Tire.

While the team is away, the Philadelphia Union are headed to Sea Isle for DOOP Down the Shore, an exciting takeover and watch party on at the Jersey shore. If you can't make it down -- end your weekend with some Eastern Conference action on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

After Wednesday's night win on the road in Chicago, Philadelphia Union are still the top team in Major League Soccer, sitting two results above the rest with 40 points. This year's crew, lead by Head Coach Bradley Carnell, are the fifth-fastest team to reach that mark in league history, and they'll look to add another three against Columbus Crew on Sunday.

The match ahead marks the second Philly and Columbus clash in 2025 -- on May 10th, the pair drew 2-2 at Subaru Park after Sean Zawadski scored a 93rd minute equalizer.

Philadelphia Union hasn't lost a single match since well before then, now holding an 11 match unbeaten streak in MLS play, while Columbus failed to find a win in their five games following to finish May. Despite the dip, Head Coach Wilfried Nancy's side has fared far better in June, defeating both Western powerhouse Vancouver Whitecaps and Atlanta United in their most recent pair of matches.

"I think we've known each other quite well now over the years, and it's always fun coming up against Wilfried's teams," Carnell said in Friday press conference.

"I always tip my hat of respect to Wilfried and the winning nature of his teams and the way they play and the fluidity and the flexibility they go about it with. It's always very inspiring, so it's a great challenge for us, and something we have to get up for and be excited about. "

While it hasn't been long since the teams met, Philadelphia Union will likely send out a far different lineup, as multiple players from their XI in the May match are unavailable for Sunday due to injury or international duty. The team was missing nine players for Wednesday's match in Chicago, and though an updated report hasn't been released, Carnell said in his press conference that he doesn't anticipate having any injured players return to the group for Sunday.

It all goes down on Sunday night -- tune in at 6:00pm with MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
