Philadelphia Union celebrated the Fearless 43 with a 2-0 win over CF Montréal on Kick Childhood Cancer Night, extending their MLS unbeaten run to eight matches.
After a scoreless opening half, Danley Jean Jacques broke the deadlock in the 57th minute to put the Boys in Blue in front.
Andre Blake then came up with a crucial stop from the penalty spot, denying Prince Owusu to preserve Philadelphia’s advantage before Cavan Sullivan doubled the lead in the 75th minute.
Sullivan’s goal also made MLS history as the 16-year-old became the youngest player in league history, and the first teenager, to record a goal contribution in five consecutive regular-season matches.
The Union saw out the result from there to secure all three points on a meaningful night at Subaru Park, extending their unbeaten run to eight consecutive MLS matches and continuing their push up the Eastern Conference standings toward the playoff positions.

Interim Head Coach Ryan Richter rolled out his first-choice XI against CF Montreal, selecting the same squad he used in last weeks 3-1 win at Red Bull New York.
Wearing the armband, Andre Blake started the match between the posts, protected by a backline featuring Neil Pierre paired with Nathan Harriel at centerback, plus Frankie Westfield and Kai Wagner outside.Â
Jovan Lukic, Danley Jean Jacques, Indiana Vassilev, and Cavan Sullivan made up the midfield, while Bruno Damiani and Milan Iloski were paired up top.Â

The entire stadium waved flags in their honor, while the Supporters' section hoisted three tifos to open the match, including one for the Fearless 43 and one for the Forever Fearless who have passed away.
