With all the pressure of win or see your eMLS season conclude, Philadelphia Union esports competitor ThiagoCapo12 kept calm on the sticks to plow through the field at the eMLS Last Chance Qualifier to secure the final spot in eMLS Cup.
Thiago kicked things off in Group B play with a perfect 3-0 performance with wins over the Columbus Crew (3-2), New York Red Bulls (2-1) and Inter Miami CF (4-2).
Things moved to the knockout rounds where Thiago would face off against his opponents across two legs. Despite the extra matches, he remained confident with a 12-4 rout over the San Jose Earthquakes. In the semifinals, Thiago picked up a big 4-1 win in the opening leg and held on in the second leg to advance to the Last Chance Qualifier Final via a 4-3 result. In the final going up against the Portland Timbers, Thiago put on another must-see performance with a 9-3 aggregate scoreline.
