Philadelphia Union Academy's U13 squad wrapped up a busy weekend with a friendly against Ironbound SC's U14s and despite the age difference picked up a 3-0 win on Sunday afternoon.

While Ironbound SC controlled the possession, the Boys in Blue had good intensity to recover the ball in dangerous spaces. As the match progressed, the Union turned up the tempo and found success. It a pair of counter attacks from the squad that produced the goals with Gabriel Wesseh continuing his strong run of form with a brace while Luke Villary added a goal to push the squad to a 3-0 result.

The U13s return to MLS NEXT play this weekend when they host Bethesda SC on Saturday, June 12th. Kick off from YSC Sports is set for 4 p.m. ET.
