ChasingACup.com has revealed its latest ratings which took a look at which United States based MLS club is doing the best job of recruiting, identifying, developing and giving opportunity to players born in 2003 to 2007.
Of the 26 teams, Philadelphia Union ranked No. 1 in the last ahead of Real Salt Lake and FC Dallas.
Marcus Chairez writes that "Philly is the model MLS club when it comes to youth development. They identify and recruit talent incredibly well. They have balance across their classes, each level has good talent and they have also done a great job of identifying the right talent and signing good players to homegrown deals."
Led by current homegrowns Paxten Aaronson, Jack McGlynn, Quinn Sullivan, Anton Sorenson and Brandan Craig, the site also made note of countless prospects that have gotten minutes with Philadelphia Union II in MLS NEXT Pro this season with the likes of Nelson Pierre, Bajung Darboe, Marcos Zambrano-Delgado helping the Union pipeline.
