Philadelphia Union faced off against New England Revolution on Wednesday night at Gillette Stadium in the second match of the 2023 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs Round One best-of-three series, winning 1-0. With the win, the Union advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals of the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs against FC Cincinnati. In the first half, the Union outshot New England 11 to two, but could not find the back of the net. In the 44th minute, New England went down to 10 men after midfielder Mark Anthony-Kaye was sent off. In the second half, forward Chris Donovan scored his first-ever playoff goal from a free kick by Homegrown midfielder Jack McGlynn in the 79th minute.

Philadelphia Union travel to TQL Stadium to face FC Cincinnati in the Eastern Conference Semifinals of the 2023 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs (Time and date TBD).
