Union Partner with Anheuser-Busch

Philadelphia Union has added brewing giant Anheuser-Busch to its list of Founding Corporate Partners, the club announced today.  The integrated partnership provides Anheuser-Busch various marketing elements at the new PPL Park and in-market promotional rights.

“Anheuser-Busch has been a great sponsor of our League and our sport and we’re thrilled to now have them as a partner of Philadelphia Union,” said Philadelphia Union President Tom Veit. 

In addition to securing branding rights at PPL Park and in-market promotional rights, Anheuser-Busch will also team up with the Union and Gretz Beer Company to implement the Good Sport Program, which promotes a positive atmosphere at the stadium by encouraging adult fans to drink responsibly and use a designated driver.  Anheuser-Busch will promote the Good Sport program through the use of stadium signage, PSAs and an in-stadium designated driver sign-up booth.

PPL Park is scheduled to open on June 27th, when the Union host the Seattle Sounders at 5:00 p.m.
