The Philadelphia Union has parted ways with goalkeeping coach Paulo Grilo, the team announced Friday. Grilo had officially been with the club since the start of the 2015 MLS Regular Season after serving on an interim basis for second half of 2014. Per club and league policy, additional details were not disclosed.
“We thank Paulo for his service and dedication to our club over the last year, but we felt this was the appropriate time to go in a different direction,” head coach Jim Curtin said. “We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.”
