2018 Home Opener set for March 3rd against New England Revolution

Major League Soccer today announced that Philadelphia Union will host the New England Revolution in the club’s 2018 home opener. The match takes place on Saturday, March 3 and is the Union’s first match of the overall 2018 season, as the club begins the campaign at Talen Energy Stadium.

Kickoff time, as well as a complete 2018 MLS schedule, will be announced in the coming weeks. All local and national broadcast schedules will also be announced in the near future.

Philadelphia is unbeaten over their last four home openers at Talen Energy Stadium (2-0-2), registering a 4-2-2 record overall in their all-time home-opening matches. The Union are also 6-3-2 all-time against the Revolution at Talen Energy Stadium, winning their last two such contests, including a 3-0 win in the 2017 season.
