Eintracht Frankfurt is already preparing for their next campaign by gearing up for another pre-season training trip to the United States. Last year, the club visited San Diego and San Fransisco, California, as well as Columbus, Ohio. The four-time German Cup Champions will make two stops on their 2018 tour.
The first stop scheduled on Eintracht Frankfurt tour is Salt Lake City, Utah. The team will spend the first five days of the tour out west at Real Salt Lake Academy. During their time at RSL, Eintracht Frankfurt will play in a friendly at Rio Tinto Stadium on July 10th. Kick-off is slated for 8 p.m. MDT (10 p.m. ET).
On July 12th Eintracht Frankfurt will depart from the west and travel east to their sister-city, Philadelphia. In the City of Brotherly Love, Eintracht Frankfurt will train at the Union's facilities, as well as play a friendly. The friendly will take place on Saturday July 14th at Talen Energy Stadium at 7 p.m. ET.
There will be familiar faces in the sister-city friendly, American international Timothy Chandler will play against his former 2014 FIFA World Cup teammate, Union captain Alejandro Bedoya.
Eintracht Frankfurt will then fly back across the North Atlantic on July 15th.
