- Andre Blake makes his third Audi MLS Cup Playoffs start in net.
- Haris Medunjanin and Jack Elliott remain in the starting XI. The duo are one of three players in the regular season that played every minute.
- Captain Alejandro Bedoyoa returns to the starting XI after missing the regular season finale against NYCFC due to injury.
- Sergio Santos also returns from injury to start in today's match. Santos made 17 appearances in the regular season, scoring four goals in 622 minutes.
- Andrew Wooten continues to start up top for the Boys in Blue. Wooten started four matches in the regular season, assisting on the Union's opening goal at D.C. United.
